In these contracts, the state as client and the RUs as contractors regulate the ordering and financing of local rail transport services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1be56a8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1be56a8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In order for the local trains to run, the RUs provide their transport services to the desired extent, and the state pays them so-called \"order fees\" for this. Adjustments usually take place at the same time as the annual timetable changes in December.<\/p><p>The central legal basis is the applicable EU law.
