More train services between Schwerin and Parchim for the traditional autumn highlight <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Schwerin, 01.11.2023 <\/strong>In a joint initiative between the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and ODEG - Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH, additional train services will be offered on the RB13 line (Parchim Schwerin Rehna) between Schwerin and Parchim during the 2023 Martinimarkt. \"More services, more service and, above all, more climate protection - this is good news for passengers and shows that the mobility offensive is making progress. We are also one step closer to achieving our goal of improving the integration of regional rail transport in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, particularly in rural areas. These and many other projects for the expansion of local public transport have been set out for the future in the state government's mobility offensive. In this way, we want to strengthen public transport services in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - especially in rural areas,\" says Reinhard Meyer, Minister for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour.<\/p>\n

\"Together with the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, we are sending a strong signal for the mobility of our passengers and helping to make the Martinimarkt experience even more pleasant for visitors of all ages. With the additional train services on the RB13 line during the event, we are offering a convenient and environmentally friendly way to get there. ODEG is looking forward to accompanying the guests on their train journey and already wishes everyone a lot of fun exploring the market with its diverse range of offers,\" says Stefan Neubert Managing Director of ODEG.<\/p>\n

The Martinimarkt, Mecklenburg's largest fair, will take place from 3 to 6 November 2023 and once again promises to be an impressive experience for visitors of all ages. On behalf of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, ODEG will be running a total of 28 additional journeys on 4 and 5 November 2023 on the RB13 route between Schwerin and Parchim. These additional journeys will be offered with an additional Regioshuttle vehicle, so that guests can comfortably reach the Martinimarkt at hourly intervals even on the weekend. As usual, ODEG's dedicated local transport service staff will provide one hundred percent assistance to passengers and will be on hand to ensure that their journey is as pleasant as possible.<\/p>\n
