Schwerin, 25.11.2022 Since the introduction of the AzubiTicket M-V in February 2021, trainees in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have been able to conveniently book the discounted state ticket online. The mobile phone ticket is valid all year round and has already been ordered over 10,000 times.
"We are pleased about the great demand and the five-digit sales figures for the first time. The state's trainees benefit from a statewide, exclusively digital local transport ticket that they can use cheaply, conveniently and contactlessly, especially in these times," says Daniel Bischof, authorised signatory VMV-Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Trainees in the state can use the ticket to travel on all trains, buses and ferries of the local public transport system for 365 euros. The annual ticket can be conveniently booked at www.azubiticket-mv.de or on www.bahn.de/azubiticket-mv and applies to persons completing qualified vocational training, voluntary service or preparatory service for civil service (LBG 1) in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The AzubiTicket M-V is an initiative of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern together with the state's transport companies and is managed by VMV-Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on behalf of the state.
