New funding guideline for local public transport on-call bus services in MV

As part of its mobility offensive, the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern grants financial assistance for the development, provision and operation of municipal on-call bus systems as part of the state-wide on-call bus system in accordance with defined quality criteria.

The grants for on-demand bus systems in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern aim to further improve the standard of services, particularly in rural areas.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance and after consulting the State Court of Audit, issues a funding guideline for the granting of subsidies to promote on-demand bus systems in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The funding is aimed at municipal authorities in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and was approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour. This funding comes into force on 28.12.2023.
