The first Regiobus line in the state capital of Schwerin will start operating on Sunday, 10 December 2023, when the timetable changes. Line 170 from Schwerin to Sternberg via Cambs and Brüel will be operated by the Ludwigslust-Parchim transport company (VLP). The State Secretary for Transport Ines Jesse, the Managing Director of VMV-Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Daniel Bischof, the Managing Director of VLP Stefan Lösel and Dirk Schartow, Head of Finance from the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, will take part in the official launch of the regional bus line.
