Reactivation of local rail passenger transport on the Hagenow Stadt to Zarrentin line
As part of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mobility campaign, we are currently examining the resumption of local rail passenger transport on individual railway lines in the state. This includes the line from Hagenow Stadt to Zarrentin. Economics and Transport Minister Reinhard Meyer will inform interested parties about the current status of work at a citizens' forum on Friday, 7 June. The District Administrator of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district Stefan Sternberg, the Managing Director of Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (VMV) Daniel Bischof and the expert Susanne Rebentisch from PTV Transport Consult GmbH will also be present.
