rebus Regionalbus Rostock GmbH in the district of Rostock is participating in the state-wide mobility campaign of the MV Ministry of Transport. With a new regional bus route from Güstrow to Sternberg (Ludwigslust-Parchim district) with a connection to Schwerin, it will be easier to reach the state capital by public transport from March.

The first rebus-Regiobus MV will be symbolically launched on 4 March with the State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Employment MV, Ines Jesse, the District Administrator of the Rostock district, Sebastian Constien, the Managing Director of VMV-Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Daniel Bischof, and other guests from the region, who will provide information about the new connection.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs is supporting the project via the VMV-Verkehrsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with regionalisation funds. The grants as part of the state's mobility campaign are aimed at improving service standards in the interests of passengers in rural areas. The new rebus line is intended to close the public transport gap between Güstrow via Sternberg to Schwerin in cooperation with Verkehrsgesellschaft Ludwigslust-Parchim mbH (VLP).
