Under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Economics, Infrastructure, Labour and Tourism, VMV uses the financial resources allocated to it for the operation and further development of public transport in the state. The employees in two departments manage the planning of rail transport, promote the further expansion of regional transport services and offer local transport customers information on the route network and connections through the provision and maintenance of the state-wide timetable information system.
